Representative 0% APR

Finance is enabled as a payment option with a basket value of minimum £900 and maximum £25,000 with no deposit required. Repayments are monthly over a 6 or 12 month period. 


Cancellations & Refunds

You have the right to withdraw from your finance agreement. For online purchases this is 15 days following signing of the credit agreement. You will still be in a contract of purchase for the goods. Please contact us to arrange alternative payment, or to arrange safe return of goods according to our Terms & Conditions here.

Once you begin the Divido application process, we reserve your purchases for 72 hours in good faith. If you fail to e-sign the accepted agreement or fail to provide Divido with any additional information they require to accept your application (a referral) within this timeframe, we will regretfully have to cancel your order unless you have contacted us and we have agreed to an extension of this period.


Am I eligible?

To apply you must:

✓   Be over 18 years of age

✓   Be a UK Resident for at least 3 years

✓   Have a UK bank account that can accept direct debits

✓   Have credit or debit card registered to your home address

✓   Have a stable income whether through permanent employment or other means (pension, Disability Allowance, etc.)

✓   Be OK for there to be a credit check performed when you submit your application

Please note: Delivery must be to the address you put on the finance application, which must be the same as your billing address of the bank account you’re applying with.

FAQs

What information will I need to provide?

During Divido’s secure application process you will be asked to provide some basic personal details such as your marital, residential and employment status. You will also need to have your bank account handy and possibly your credit or debit card information for deposit and ID verification.

How long does this process take in total?

Our application process typically lasts 5-10 minutes from start to finish should you be accepted and once you have e-signed the agreement, you will have successfully purchased your goods. We can only keep goods allocated for 72 hours once you begin the application process, so once accepted, please be sure to e-sign the agreement promptly to avoid cancellation of your order. 

Do I have to have hard-copies of my documents or credit card on me?

No, the Divido application process is 100% paperless. You will simply need to provide your credit card information but no need to present the actual card at any point.

Why was my application unsuccessful?

On occasion, we won’t be able to offer you finance.

We understand that it can be disappointing to have an application for credit be unsuccessful.

To start with, we have used all the information that you supplied in your application and information supplied by a credit reference agency to give our underwriters the information they need to make a decision. As responsible lenders, our underwriters take into account your personal circumstances to decide the appropriate level of credit to offer you. They use your credit score to help them do this. Credit scoring takes into account information provided directly by you and any information they may hold about you already.

We have a commitment to act responsibly in facilitating credit to customers. Our underwriters look at how customers meet their various debt repayments together with the total level of debt, including available credit on cards. Their decision is based on the level of risk calculated for each applicant.

While the lender will not tell us exactly why they declined you (due to data protection), we know it will be for one or more of these reasons:

  1. Eligibility (under 18, not a UK resident, etc);
  2. Not enough credit experience (only had their first credit card 6 months ago);
  3. Affordability (lenders have to follow the lending code to act responsibly);
  4. Negative credit file information (Even a parking ticket you are unaware of can end up leaving a default on your credit file).

If you wanted more details on your credit report, our underwriters use Equifax, Call Credit and Experian as credit reference agencies. Our underwriters also use information from CIFAS, the UK's Fraud Prevention Service. To find out what information these credit reference agencies hold on your file, you can contact them directly.
