Inspired by light. Z mount.
With the world’s widest full-frame mount, the agile Z 7 mirrorless camera captures light as never before. ¹
BIG MOUNT. BIG IMPACT.
The wide 55 mm mount diameter means your Z series camera takes in more light. Just 16 mm between the mount and the camera’s full-frame image sensor means more of that light reaches the sensor.
Life in front of you
- Be bold. Be subtle. With 45.7 MP of full-frame imaging power, beauty is yours to define.
- The back-illuminated 45.7 MP full-frame CMOS sensor with focal-plane phase-detection AF captures razor-sharp images.
- The blazing EXPEED 6 image processor delivers images with low noise and stunning dynamic range at both high and low ISO values.
- Record full-frame 4K/UHD movies at 30p. Achieve enthralling slow motion with richly detailed Full HD movies at up to 120p. You can easily capture still frames while filming in 4K or Full HD.
- Oversampling from 8K enables 4K footage with spectacular fineness and detail. The fast EXPEED 6 processor ensures beautifully clean files, remarkably free of noise, moiré, and false colour.
- In-camera vibration reduction provides 5.0 stops of stability - a Nikon first
- Totally new and ergonomically designed magnesium alloy body
One adapter. Endless inspiration.
- With the Mount Adapter FTZ attached to your Z 7 camera, you’re free to use existing F-mount NIKKOR lenses. The FTZ Mount Adapter lets you take full advantage of F-mount lenses when you shoot stills or video with your Nikon Z camera. There’s no loss in image quality. And NIKKOR lenses without Vibration Reduction (VR) will find new levels of sharpness.
- Auto Exposure shooting is enabled for hundreds of F-mount lenses. And F-mount lenses with a built-in autofocus motor retain full autofocus abilities.
- our Nikon Z camera doesn’t just work with your F-mount lens’ VR—it improves it. If you’re using an F-mount lens with VR, in-lens yaw-and-pitch detection is supplemented with the in-camera roll detection. And when you’re shooting with a non-VR F-mount lens, yaw, pitch, and roll are corrected in-camera.
- Seamless in more than just operation. The F-mount adapter is finished in leather-tone paintwork, smoothly blending the look of your F-mount lens with the adapter. And with your Nikon Z camera.
- A dust- and drip-resistant build incorporates rubber seals for lens and camera connections as well as buttons and levers. A tough, light magnesium-alloy barrel means you’re good to go. And the large tripod socket ensures perfect balance when using F-mount lenses together with your Nikon Z camera.
